CLIMATE
If you do decide to go the this amazing coral reef, then you should probably know what weather you should pack for and what kind of weather to expect.
~~The 2 monsoon seasons are the northeastern and the southeastern monsoons.
~~You should pack your swimsuit and be ready to swim because the average water temperature is 22 C (72 F).
~~Although the water is warm, it might be a bit shallow because, per year, there is about 205 cm (81 in) of evaporation.
~~While you are on the shore getting a nice tan, the tides are 6m-9m. So that would be average. If you choose to go fishing in the center of the red sea, it is almost tideless.
~~During summer, NW winds push the surface water south for about four months at a velocity of 15–20 cm a second (6–8 inches a second). During winter the flow is reversed moving the inflow of water from the Gulf of Aden into the Red Sea.
~~The areas on and around the coral reef are known for their strong winds and unpredictable local currents. So don't expect your hair to have perfect curls all day!
~~You probably wont run into any rain while you are there since there is about .06 cm (2.36 in.) of rain per year.
